Birthday Time !

As Sarah and Alexander were growing up there came the inevitable requests of "when can I do this?" and "when can I do that?" and the most common answer was: "when you are twelve".  Well both of them are there now!  March saw Sarah turn 14 and Alexander reach the milestone age of 12.

Both the kids did a great job of planning and preparing for the birthdays of the other, including Alexander's creative interpretation of Elmo for Sarah's birthday cake. 

Of course lots of great presents and wonderful calls with family and friends across the world (thank you all). 

A highlight was Ack and his Dad heading off to iFly Dubai (link) for some indoor sky diving ( it's best you think of it as hovering over a gigantic fan that's blowing air upwards at you).  As you can see from the shot of the Flying Ackster -- huge fun for all.
