Time to be Gleeful (and Thankful)

We couldn't allow April to escape without a FrenchamFamily update.

Sarah has just wrapped a mini-season of performances of "Don't Stop Believin' -- a tribute to Glee and other gleeful tunes!".  This West End production hit the stage in Dubai with 10 UK cast members and 20 supporting performers, including Sarah who had been selected during auditions in March.

Lot's of well choreographed songs and dancing backed by a live band and covering gleeful tunes from the 60s through to the present.  This correspondent thought that the local performers did a wonderful job and apparently Sarah was one of the standouts as she has been offered a new role in May (stay tuned Blog readers!).  The cast, band and director below:

Time also to be Thankful over this past ANZAC Day week as we remember the sacrifices of those who served for us all.  The poignant Ode to Remembrance says it so perfectly:

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
       We will remember them.

Lest we forget.
